Take a Dive Into the Psychedelic Sounds of Starlab

Starlab-705x470When you’re relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Goa, India can be a transcendent experience. This was definitely the case for young Bharat Bindal, as this is where he discovered the pulsating sounds of psytrance, laying the foundation for what would become StarLab. Since then, he has gone on to become India’s foremost psytrance artist, spreading his deep, hypnotic grooves far beyond the shores of India into Europe, Asia and the US.

After spending much of the summer on tour, he will be joining us at EDC India to rock the decks for his hometown Headliners. He has a deep dedication to those who support his music, and they reciprocate it in often unexpected ways. When asked about his favorite fan interaction, he said, “There’s this girl who showed up once at the airport with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates, and whenever I travel to that city, she’s always there for my gigs with her friends—it’s very nice to see that!”

As his gift to you, he’s created a playlist that brilliantly captures the sounds that make up his deeply moving sets. Each track is full of dark, grooving basslines accented by glitched-out, mind-bending sounds and gorgeously enchanting melodies.
